Who writes a recommendation
A team owner or manager who personally worked with you writes it, and confirms it is based on personal experience. You may ask for one, but you cannot write it yourself.
Your choices
When a recommendation arrives you can:
- Accept & Publish — it appears on your public profile;
- Accept but Keep Private — it stays in your records;
- Decline — it is not shown.
You cannot edit what the team wrote, but you can report a recommendation that is false or unfair.
How much it counts
Recommendations are a supporting signal. They help customers understand your work but they are not the main ranking factor.
