If you already have practical experience, you can tell us how you learned your trade and show appropriate evidence. If you are still developing your skills, Nauie can help you follow a development path before you offer services independently.

When you add the Worker role, Nauie asks which of these describes you today. You can change it later.

  • I already do skilled work

    I have practical experience and want customers to find me.

    Build your profile from your practical experience: tell customers how you learned your trade, add photos of your work and the areas you serve. After a review, your profile can be published in customer search.

  • I am developing my skills

    I am learning, gaining experience, or preparing to become a skilled worker.

    You join as a Developing Worker. You build practical skills and evidence first. You are not shown to customers as an independent worker until the development and marketplace requirements are complete.

  • I am not sure yet

    Nauie can guide me toward an appropriate development path.

    Create your account and read the guides. You can choose your stage later — nothing is published until you decide and meet the requirements.

An account is not the same as being listed

Anyone 18 or over can create a Nauie account. Being shown to customers as an independent worker is a separate step, with its own requirements — so customers can trust what a listing means.

Creating an account

  • 18 years old or over
  • Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
  • No certificate, ID or previous employer needed

Appearing in customer search

  • You already do skilled work independently
  • A complete profile: skills, service areas, availability, how you learned
  • A review by the Nauie team before publishing

Good to know before you start

Developing Worker

You are joining Nauie while you build practical skills and evidence. Your Developing status is different from an independent Worker profile. You will not be presented to customers as an independently available service provider until the applicable development and marketplace requirements are completed.

Team Development Notice

A Team may support your development and submit observations based on work it personally observes. The Team does not own your Nauie account or individual professional record.

Evidence and Media Notice

Only submit photos, videos, documents, or other material you are permitted to share. Do not include private customer information, confidential project information, or identifiable people without appropriate permission.

Nauie is a platform

Nauie is a platform, not an employer, contractor, agency, or service provider. Workers listed on Nauie are independent service providers. Nauie provides the platform for customers and workers to find and contact one another and does not employ or directly provide their services.
