These rules keep Nauie useful and safe for workers, customers, teams and businesses.
Be honest
- Describe your skills, experience and availability truthfully. Say how you learned your trade — a certificate is not required.
- Do not claim that Nauie vouches for you as a person or has issued you a certificate or license. Nauie only shows specific checks (for example "✓ Identity Checked") and skill-specific evidence.
- Do not create fake profiles, fake recommendations, or impersonate anyone.
Respect privacy and permission
- Upload only photos, videos and documents you are allowed to share.
- Do not post private customer information, confidential plans, or identifiable people without their permission.
- Do not share another user's contact details outside the purpose they were shared for.
Recommendations and assessments
- Team owners and managers write recommendations only about work they personally observed and must confirm this declaration.
- A worker cannot write their own recommendation for a manager to approve. Workers may accept, keep private, decline or report a recommendation.
- Skills Demonstration Assessments must reflect actual observed work. Team Leads do not own a worker's individual record.
Stay within Nauie's scope
- Business listings must fit the Nauie business categories (materials, tools and equipment, worker and worksite support). Nauie is not a general marketplace.
- Transport listings are for materials, tools and equipment only. No passenger transport, ride-hailing, taxis or "book a driver".
Contact responsibly
- No spam, harassment, scams or repeated unwanted contact. Contact reveals are rate-limited.
- Use Report or Block if something is wrong. Reports are private.
Enforcement
Nauie may remove content, unpublish listings, restrict or suspend accounts, and keep records of these actions. Account status and marketplace eligibility are separate: an account may exist without a public listing.
